Costco Holiday Closures 2024
Costco doesn’t close for all of these different bank holidays. However, they do close for some of them:
- New Year’s Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
So, they close for half a dozen federal holidays throughout the year. Additionally, Costco closes for one other holiday that isn’t recognized as a bank holiday: Easter Sunday. Easter Sunday is March 31, 2024. Therefore, if you are a big Costco shopper, then you might want to go mark your 2024 calendar with those seven dates during which the store will close.
2024 Costco OPEN Holidays
Obviously, that leaves five federal holidays during which banks and other government offices might be closed. However, Costco will be open:

Therefore, we anticipate, although again it’s not confirmed, that Costco holiday hours for 2025 will be the same. In other words, they’ll be open from 10 – 8:30 on weekdays, 9:30 – 7 on Saturdays, and 10 – 6 on Sundays, except for those three unusual dates during the end of the year. They’ll probably be open from 9 – 8:30 on Friday, November 29, 2024, for Black Friday. And they’ll probably close early at 5 pm on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve 2024, which is typical for them each year.
